Quantitative studies: In the quantitative studies the researchers use quantitative and measurable parameters to examine and describe the situation the subject under the study.

Types of studiesThese studies require a big sample size which help the researchers to generalize their findings. This type of studies re mostly used for decision making and policy development.

Qualitative studies: Qualitative studies benefit from qualitative parameters to answer the question of why and how the subject under the study happens.  This type of studies explores the causes, reasons, and motivation of the status, which provides a deeper understanding of the existing situation.  These studies are used to express a problem or to put forward hypotheses for the quantitative studies or to discover the underlying causes and depth of quantitative results.
