Statistical analysis is a process facilitating the transformation of data into useful information assisting the user in the decision making process. This procedure is performed to find the answer to questions, test hypotheses, or reject theories. Data analysis entails entering the questionnaire data, performing data analysis, and presenting them in form of statistical tables, such as frequency tables.

The SPSS software, which stands for statistical package for social science, is designed to analyze the data. This software is considered as one of the most powerful tools for the statistical analysis of social and behavioral data. SPSS is one of the most commonly used software packages used in statistical analysis because it is easy to learn, easy to use, and powerful in computational complexity. There is also other statistical software, including SAS, S-Plus, Minitab, etc.
